De Friesland Health Insurer
A health insurer with Frisian roots, built from mutual funds and regional collaboration.
The history of De Friesland begins in 1815 with the mutual sickness and burial fund Regt door Zee. From various Frisian funds, De Friesland Health Insurer was established in 1990.
The organization became part of Achmea in 2012. Its regional origins remained recognizable in collaboration with healthcare providers, municipalities, and other partners around health and care. My assignment took place in 2014, in the period after that affiliation with Achmea.
I worked there as a senior BizTalk and integration consultant. This assignment is part of my experience with system integration within the healthcare sector.
