Hanzehogeschool Groningen
A university of applied sciences with a long regional history in education, where a new integration platform also called for a clear development and operations approach.
The roots of the Hanze date back to 1798. An initiative from Groningen society aimed to make practice-oriented higher education possible for the development of the city and its surrounding region. That connection between education and its surroundings is still recognizable in the university of applied sciences' story.
Within an educational organization, educational processes, services, research, and supporting information services come together. An integration platform serves as a technical link in this, but also requires agreements on access, development, testing, and management.
For the Hanze, I worked on a BizTalk 2013 platform and the associated integration strategy. I combined the setup of OTAP environments with development templates, security patterns, automated tests, and training for administrators.
