VUmc Amsterdam
The former VU medical organization in Amsterdam, where patient care, medical research, and education converge.
The medical faculty of the Vrije Universiteit was officially opened in 1950. The VU academic hospital followed with its official opening in 1966. In 2001, the hospital and medical faculty continued together as VUmc.
VUmc and AMC merged administratively on June 7, 2018 and have since worked together under the name Amsterdam UMC. The core tasks are complex patient care, scientific research, and education. My assignment dates from before that administrative merger and is therefore under the former name VUmc.
From May 2013 to July 2014 I worked at VUmc as a senior BizTalk and integration consultant.
