An online open day with streaming and interactive introduction

A digital open-day environment with Angular, Strapi, Mux streaming, and Zoom Rooms.

The client question

Due to COVID-19 measures, the regular open day could not take place in person. An online environment was needed at short notice so that prospective students could still get acquainted with the university of applied sciences.

My role

Frontend and API developer

My approach & contribution

I worked on the Angular web application and the integration with content management and streaming. The environment combined Strapi as the backend, Mux for real-time streaming, and Zoom Rooms for interaction. Docker containers and build and release pipelines were set up for the web app and backend, with agreements on features and releases in Git.
