A governed Azure foundation for integration and identity management
Cloud adoption from existing on-premises systems, with landing zones, IAM and repeatable deployments.
The client question
Heutink sought a way to bring existing on-premises systems to the cloud in a controlled manner. In doing so, integration services, identity, network connections and development agreements had to align. ISO 27001 compliance was an objective of the project.
My role
Integration specialist and cloud architect
My approach & contribution
I delivered workshops on the Cloud Adoption Framework and worked with internal IT staff and suppliers on a hub-and-spoke setup and ExpressRoute connections. For Integration Services and IAM, I developed landing zones with OTAP. I communicated agreements on Git, naming, Bicep, Azure Verified Modules and YAML to the team. For integrations, this included API Management, Functions and Key Vault; for IAM, OIDC and OAuth2.
