Tracking and proactively handling transactional email
An email architecture with Azure Durable Functions for better visibility into the delivery of customer communications.
The client question
For transactional email, visibility into the status of individual messages was needed so that delivery issues could be followed up on in time.
My role

My approach & contribution
I worked on the email architecture using Azure Durable Functions. This tracked and monitored the processing of individual emails. The process could then initiate a follow-up action when a message was not delivered.
The result
An example of this follow-up was the automatic switch to a letter when an invoice email could not be delivered.
